Amsterdam Photo Diary

How did I enjoy my long weekend? I joined my reggae head significant other on an impromptu trip to bike capital of the world - Amsterdam. He was happy to be attending the reggae festival there, I was excited to actually BE outside Amsterdam Schipol. It is a really beautiful place. I was there 2 days and didn't get to see much of it, but I will say, it is quite beautiful, let alone the architecture which is beautiful chaos, I loved the bridges on the tourist district. I also got to see many stylish girls who I would've loved to photograph, if I had the nerve to approach them. Two days and I think Amsterdam is really under rated when it comes to fashion and it's probably going to be the next big thing in Europe. I am definitly going back to see the rest of it and would highly recommend everyone visit! A cookie for anyone who can guess what the second last pic is...

    1. Not at all, The Reggae scene in europe is at par with the hip hop scene in the U.S. only the air is always prgnant with the stench of Mary J. ooooh I shall definitly snap the red light district next time. I hear theirs is much much better than the one we have in Hamburg....

  27. I've never been to Amsterdam, but I miss Europe (and particularly Germany) so much! Still, I'm loving my summer in NYC, so I'll just have to wait until next year for another summer in Germany. :) I don't think I know any Afro-Germans (I'm half-German, half-African) so it's interesting to see this! Cool blog!
